COURSE PROFILE

The Purification Act(Fiqh of Worship I (Tahara))

Everyone must perform salah, therefore everyone must study about purification. It’s as simple as that.

Can you imagine someone who has been praying for years without learning the correct method of ablutions, (wudu), or bathing, (ghusl); there is a strong possibility that their prayers are invalid.

Allah loves those who purify themselves; and purification is more than just wudhū’ and ghusl. The nature of purity and impurity, both physical and spiritual, is even more important today when clear water is readily available. There is unnecessary confusion about the terms “clean”, “dirt”, “tahūr”, “najas”, and misinformation regarding etiquettes and nullifiers of purity. This class explains this vast topic, and why it is as applicable now as it was 1400 years ago when “clean” water was a scarce resource.

This Course is a comprehensive way to learn everything you need to know about purification; from wudu, wiping on bandages, and ghusl to personal cleanliness.
